Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins has shared his joy at winning the World Cup with wife Becky Boston and their toddler son Albie as they reunited in one of Sydney’s trendiest suburbs.
The trio enjoyed breakfast together at a cafe at beachside Clovelly in the city’s east on Wednesday, just a short trip from the stunning $9.5million home the couple bought in Bronte in March 2021.
Cummins looked relaxed and refreshed after spending several weeks in the subcontinent while his team secured Australia‘s sixth World Cup title with an underdog win over India in the final.

Just hours beforehand, Cummins showcased his sense of humour to a scrum of journalists at Sydney Airport soon after arriving on a long-haul flight from India.
The paceman, 30, joked he might have some questionable body odour following the arduous flight, before reflecting on his team’s impressive win against the shell-shocked hosts in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
‘Every half an hour or so you remember you’ve won the World Cup and get excited all over again,’ Cummins said.
‘We’ve spent about six months on the road and to top it off with this has been amazing. I was pretty pumped to win, it was a career highlight.
‘Captaincy aside, just to play with these boys, it doesn’t get better than that.’

‘We will be smiling for a fair while.’
This year will be remembered one of the greatest for Australian cricket – under Cummins’ leadership, the side won the World Test Championship, retained the Ashes and then lifted the ODI World Cup.
The skipper said he was in charge of a ‘pretty satisfied group’ and lauded the fact the Aussies ‘had to be flawless to make the semis … and we pretty much were’.
‘The belief never left. We knew once we clicked we could take on anyone and that proved to be the case,’ Cummins said.
‘We will savour this for a long time.’
Mitchell Marsh confirmed that World Cup hero Travis Head (pictured right, with teammate Adam Zampa) was the Aussie who partied the hardest after the underdog win
After a slow start to the tournament, the Aussies performed when it mattered, winning the final by six wickets
Attention for the playing group now turns to a T20 series against the wounded hosts, starting on Friday (12.30am, AEDT).
Mitch Marsh confirmed World Cup hero Travis Head was best on ground when it came to celebrating, and declared it will be a ‘miracle’ if the batsman is named in the XI for the opening match after some heavy partying over the past few days.
Head has posted a series of images to Instagram since Sunday, where he could be seen letting his hair down with the likes of Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis.
Winning another trophy on the subcontinent will be a daunting task, with the likes of Cummins, Hazelwood, Marsh, Mitchell Starc, David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne all unavailable.
