Fortnite developer Epic Games is gearing up to launch a brand new Battle Royale experience with Chapter 6, Season 1.
Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 has a December 1 release date on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android and Nintendo Switch.
The next Chapter and Season introduces a new Battle Pass, new weapons, items and gameplay elements, as well as a brand new map.

Based on the login timings for the free Juice WRLD content in Fortnite: The Remix, Epic Games will take all content offline at 3am GMT UK time on December 1.
Downtime for new seasons always last longer than usual, which means Fortnite could be offline until around 10am GMT UK time, and maybe even later.
Daily Express will update this article with full downtime timings later today, so keep checking back for more information.
As you can see from the gameplay trailer below, the new season features a Japanese theme.
Huge titan bosses like Godzilla and Kong will roam the map, and a demon arena will also be present. Speaking of crossovers, the new season will reportedly coincide with the appearance of One Punch Man, Agent 47 from Hitman, The Riddler and Black Mask in the Item Shop.
There are also some new movement techniques, such as wall jumping and rolling when landing.
Battle Pass skins include Baymax from Big Hero 6, who even comes with a Samurai edit.
You can see some of the new map points of interest, the demon arena and Titans in the trailer below.
One thing you may have spotted in the trailer is a giant Turtle, which will reportedly move across the map.
In terms of new weapons and items, it has been confirmed that the Kinectic Blade and Katanas will make its return in Chapter 6, Season 1.
Other big changes coming to Fortnite include a more streamlined reward system across all Fortnite game modes.
Instead of Battle Stars, users will unlock XP across all Battle Passes. This means you can earn rewards in LEGO Fortnite while playing Fortnite Festival, for example.
You can also claim rewards in non-sequential order on all passes, or set each pass to auto-claim the next reward when it becomes available.
While you’ll still need to purchase Battle Passes across all Fortnite modes separately, Fortnite Crew members will receive all passes as part of their subscription.
Daily Express will keep this article updated with all the latest developments and information, so stay tuned for more.
