The Minnesota Vikings have been dealt a huge injury blow after it was revealed star wide receiver Justin Jefferson will be placed on injured reserve following the hamstring issue he suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The news will rule Jefferson out for at least four games – at Chicago, vs San Francisco, at Green Bay, and at Atlanta – but the specific timeline for when he will return to the field is as yet unclear.
The news was first reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, and will come as a huge blow to Minnesota after its 1-4 start to the 2023 season.
