To recall, in early January, the ranking from the British financial publication The Banker was released, which annually awards The Banker Awards to the best governors of central banks and financial institutions worldwide.
In 2024, according to the publication, the best banker (The Banker Central Banker of the Year) was Andriy Pyshnyy, the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Andriy Pyshnyy has been the governor of the NBU since 2022. During this time, he has entered the ranking of the most influential Ukrainians in the USA and actively participates in the sanction’s coalition against Russia.
